Itea

Itea is a coastal town in the prefecture of Fokida and the port of Amfissa, with a population of 4,362 inhabitants, as of the 2011 Census. It is located in the Gulf of Krisaios (or gulf of Itea), in the Corinthian.

Behind the city stretches the Elaionas of Amfissa, with Giona and Parnassos in the background, on which Delphi and Chrysso can be seen. From the beach of Itea looking towards the sea one can see Galaxidi and even the Peloponnese.

Itea is located south of Amfissa, northeast of Galaxidi and southwest of Delphi, cities with which it is connected by road.
